Santiago City Tour

Visit a variety of famous historic and cultural sites in Santiago.
Explore some of Santiago’s most famous landmarks. We visit “Plaza de Armas” , “Ex-Congresso Nacional” , “Plaza de la Constitucion” and the notorious “Palacio La Moneda”. Chile’s presidential palace and the site of the 1973 coup d’etat. During open hours we can walk through “Palacio La Moneda”.
The tour continues through the cobble-stoned streets of “Barrio Paris-Londres” and arrives at “Iglesia San Francisco”, the oldest church in Santiago dating back to the early 1600s. Wander through the interior of the church and learn about its history.
Next you are driven down “La Alameda” where you will experience many additional historic sights on your way to the artistic and colorful barrio of “Bellavista”. This bohemian neighborhood offers an array of delights for anyone.
Here we ride a cable car to the top of “Cerro San Cristobal “ with its the famous white statue of the Virgin Mary overlooking downtown. From this scenic vantage point you have an incredible view of Santiago.

Itinerary

This tour is available any day throughout the year. The City Tour takes approximately 4 hours and can begin between the hours of 9 am. and 3 pm. depending on your desire.
During the tour you will have the option to visit either:
a) Pre-Colubian Museum, a rare chance to view the lives and artifacts of pre-Columbian people in the Americas
b) La Chascona Museum, a guided tour through the former home of Pablo Neruda, one of Chile’s most famous literary artists and a Nobel laureate.
c) The Cousiño Mansion, a guided tour through the home of one of Chile’s wealthiest families during the 19th century.
